SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — P World, the global events and professional training group, today announced the launch of Super Early Bird tickets for the inaugural Australian edition of its Certified AI in Communications Boot Camp, to be held in Sydney on 12–13 November 2026. Tickets are now available at an A$600 discount for a limited time, as the programme moves from pre-registration into its first public sales phase.
The announcement marks P World's second event in Australia this year. The organisation's Crisis Communications Boot Camp is already scheduled for 25–26 June in Sydney and has sold out — a signal, the organisers say, of strong and growing appetite among Australian communications professionals for senior-level, practical training.
The AI Boot Camp is designed for communicators who are no longer asking whether AI will affect their work, but who need to lead AI adoption inside their organisations, protect trust and reputation in an AI-driven landscape, and deliver measurably greater strategic value. Unlike conventional conference formats, the programme eschews theory in favour of practical, workflow-level skills participants can apply the week they return to their desks.
Day One features a high-calibre plenary programme examining AI transformation in practice, from leading enterprise-wide adoption to countering misinformation, deepfakes, and synthetic media threats. Sessions address Generative Engine Optimisation, AI governance policy design, and the evolving strategic communications operating model. Day Two shifts into a full-day hands-on workshop led by Alex Sévigny, PhD, APR, tenured Associate Professor of Communications Management at McMaster University, covering AI workflows, risk management frameworks, and a capstone project in which each participant builds a custom AI assistant tailored to their own communications function.
All participants receive a Certificate of Attendance from the McMaster University Master of Communications Management Executive Education programme.
Confirmed speakers include Dan Chamberlain, Director of Communications ANZ at Microsoft; Matthew Wu, Communications Manager ANZ at Amazon Web Services; Tim Madin, Regional Strategic Communications Leader Oceania at EY; Elizabeth Anderson-Funnell of the Australian Fashion Council; Dr Karen Sutherland of the University of the Sunshine Coast; Alexandra Futeral, Strategic AI Leader and Researcher; Caroline Page, Head of Communications at Virtually Human; and workshop leader Alex Sévigny of McMaster University.
Super Early Bird tickets are available now at thepworld.com. The programme is also offered as a tailored in-house training for organisations seeking to build shared AI capabilities across their communications teams.
