Kevin Bernard

Kevin Bernard is the National Leader for Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) and CarePath IQ™ at Medtronic Canada, where he leads a team focused on care pathway optimization, health system transformation, digital health, and the adoption of innovative technologies that improve healthcare performance. His career provides a uniquely broad perspective on the healthcare landscape, spanning healthcare management consulting at Ernst & Young, hospital performance improvement at Unity Health Toronto, pharmaceutical leadership at AbbVie, and an early-career internship with the World Health Organization. He also served as Senior Policy Advisor to Canada’s Minister of Labour.

Kevin is particularly interested in how artificial intelligence can help health systems improve access, expand capacity, and redesign care delivery. Through his work with hospitals across Canada, he focuses on translating innovation into practical improvements in clinical, operational, and patient outcomes. A passionate student of healthcare innovation and artificial intelligence, he recently completed Harvard Medical School's Executive Education program, AI in Health Care: From Strategies to Implementation, and is currently pursuing McMaster University's Graduate Certificate in Data Science, Applied AI and Organizational Leadership. Kevin holds an MBA from Dalhousie University and an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University.
