Mehmet Hizarci has developed a multidisciplinary career in healthcare business taking senior leadership positions at international level. Dr. Hizarci completed his medical education at the University of Ankara Medical School which included medical studies in the United States. After graduation, he practiced medicine mainly in ultrasound diagnosis in the field of radiology. Dr. Hizarci holds an MBA degree from the Koç University, Istanbul Turkey and Finance Program Certificate from the Insead University, Fontainebleau, France. He also took specific telemedicine courses at the South Florida State University, USA. Mehmet Hizarci is also certified as an EFQM Assessor. He has led and conducted business excellence programs at Philips Healthcare and Dubai Healthcare City, shown as best practices and winning quality awards. Dr. Hizarci is a member of American Telemedicine Association, Harvard Business School, Koc University and University of Ankara Alumni Organizations, American College of Healthcare Executives and World Healthcare Tourism, Turkish Private Hospitals (OHSAD) Associations and Istanbul Chamber of Medicine. He has been invited speaker at prominent healthcare congresses and conferences in Europe and Middle East. Mehmet Hizarci speaks English, French, Dutch and Turkish. Currently, Dr. Hizarci is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Medipol Group in Turkey.
